Y’all, I found my new favorite snack! These are two of my favorite things put together into one. Purchasing Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel seasoning was one of the best decisions I’ve made in awhile. I’ve had this on avocado toast, fish, and now sweet potatoes. If you have anymore suggestions, I am totally all ears!
Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite places to shop. However, I do not go there as often for my typical grocery run since it is a bit of a drive. If you do not live near a Trader Joe’s to purchase this seasoning, you can find recipes online to make your own, or I have found the seasoning at, Costco, Walmart and on Amazon.
What I like about this recipe is that it is simple. All you have to do is wash + cut the sweet potatoes, toss in olive oil, + sprinkle with the seasoning. The waiting is the hardest part, but it is so worth the wait! I decided to peel my potatoes before I cut them, only because I am not the biggest fan of potato skins. If you do not mind potato skins, save yourself the extra step and leave the skin on – I bet it is still scrumptious.
Speaking of scrumptious, you know this recipe is good if my husband (not a sweet potato fan, but thankfully coming around to it) enjoys these. I made him try a “no thank you bite”, as my mother would say, and he went in for more bites! He said he could only have two of the rounds because the spice was too much. Come to find out, it was just his second potato round because he came back for more!
